Pininfarina announces an agreement in principle with Volvo Car Corporation for cooperation in technology development for the Swedish carmaker.
The agreement reached between the Parties provides that, starting from the Volvo Cars’ styling definition, Pininfarina will be responsible for a broad range of services, including product and process engineering, prototyping and testing.
The Pininfarina development team dedicated to Volvo Cars is already operating from the new Engineering Centre that Pininfarina inaugurated on October 14. The new Centre has the capacity to offer a comprehensive range of services in the complex automotive sector, combining styling, design and niche production activities with those of engineering, performed by a cutting-edge team of specialists using state of the art equipment.
